Competency-Based Education Professional Development Course Designed Specifically For Teachers

Brooklyn, NY, Washington, DC – July 20, 2016 --Sagence Learning is excited to announce our newest partnership with The Reading Teacher’s Top Ten Tools, a competency-based professional development curriculum for reading teachers developed by Dr. Deborah Glaser.

Dr. Glaser has been presenting professional development seminars on effective reading instruction for the past decade and earlier this year chose to redevelop her course content in order to reach a broader audience and provide one-to-one on-line interactive instruction for learners. "Teachers deserve access to content they can trust that is supported by research, and is interesting and engaging to work through.” Glaser says.

Dr. Glaser selected the Sagence Learning Cognify platform after reviewing many other options.  From the beginning, Sagence Learning was dedicated to working with her team to design and host an innovative on-line experience that applies the latest in media rich learning. The Sagence Learning team communicates their supportive expertise throughout the creation of a course and proves their knowledge throughout the creation of an on-line learning experience.  Their platform allows teachers to take the course at their own pace, and learn the content through a variety of presentation techniques.  Teachers deserve access to content they can trust, presented with innovation and supported by research.   The Reading Teacher’s Top Ten Tools will begin enrolling learners in the winter of 2017.
